A glance into head chef Rafe's culinary beginnings sets the scene for what we guarantee will be every foodie's dream. Rafe was born in Castellammare di Stabia, a town about 20km from Naples and Sorrento, under the shadow of Vesuvius. He was taken under the wing of the Giorgio family in Capri when he started a summer job at the age of 10 in the kitchen. The Matriarch and head chef recognised and nurtured his natural talent and he went on to work in the prestigious hotels and restaurants of Capri.
